6 Days Tour Details
We will leave Marrakesh in the morning ans starting our 6 Days tour from Marrakech via desert and back to Marrakech. We will drive towards Ouarzazate via Tizi N’tichka pass. We will visit the Glaoui Kasbah in Telouet and then follow the road to the oldest Kasbah in Morocco; Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah the place where many movies have been filmed. Next we will head to Ouarzazate which is known as the “Hollywood of Africa”, where we will visit the Atlas Studios and and Taourirt Kasbah. Nightly accommodation will be in Ouarzazate.
After breakfast in Ouarzazate we will start our departure to Zagora passing through Daraa Valley and enjoy its palms and visit an old Kasbah. We will then continue to Zagora where we will have lunch and spend the afternoon in this southern town. We also will drive to a famous old library in Tamgrout Village. This library includes many religious books: the manuscripts of the Koran written on animal skin which has been preserved since the 17th century, and other many books of history and medicine.
After night in Zagora and visit Tamgrout and its historic Library we will drive and discover the desert and its beautiful landscape towards Ouzina. We will pass through many Berber villages and have lunch in Tafraout Village (Hassi Fougani). Next we will continue on our journey off-road to Ouzina Village where we will spend the night in a riad.
After breakfast in Ouzina Village we will drive to Merzouga and pass through grave stone in Touz, and then head to Merzouga where we will enjoy the night near the sand dunes and have dinner.
After night in riad in Merzouga we will tour the sand dunes in a 4 x 4 vehicle. During this tour we will visit nomads in tents and view their lifestyle. We will visit the iron mines and drive to Khmliya Village where you will listen to Gnawa music. (Gnawa are black people who originated from Sudan). In the afternoon you will camel trek to the desert where you will spend the night in Berber tents and listen to drum music under the moon and stars. Early in the morning you will wake up to climb the sand dunes to see the beautiful sunrise and take some pictures.

After breakfast, we will then drive you to Rissani and visit its old traditional market selling handcrafts. We will then visit Erfoud where you will visit the fabrication of fossil sculpture. Next we will continue on the road to Midelt where we will have lunch. Thereafter, we will drive to Azrou forest to see wild Barbary monkeys also known as (Magots) and then go directly to Fez passing through Ifran. Arriving Fez in the afternoon and will be the last day of your 6 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga sahara desert. And We will drop off you in your hotel/riad.
