7 Days Tour From Fes To Merzouga. Fez Founded in the 9th century, Fez reached its height in the 13th–14th centuries under the Marinids, when it replaced Marrakesh as the capital of the kingdom. The urban fabric and the principal monuments in the medina – madrasas, fondouks, palaces, residences, mosques and fountains - date from this period. Although the political capital of Morocco was transferred to Rabat in 1912, Fez has retained its status as the country's cultural and spiritual centre.
Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt
Pick up from your Hotel by your driver/guide, and drive to Ifrane and visit the cedar forests of Azrou. It will be good opportunity to take photos for monkeys. We continued our road to the Atlas Mountains to the southern Morocco’s enjoying the landscapes. Overnight night in hotel in Midelt City.
Day 2 : Midelt – Erdoud - Rissani - Merzouga desert
To day Merzouga will be next destination, you will drive through the beautiful gorges of the Ziz to wonder geological structures, and we continue to Arfoud city via Ziz valley. Then arrive in Merzouga where your camel guide will be waiting to carry you across high sand dunes of Erg Chebbi dunes. then you will ride camel for 2 hours acrossing the high dunes and watching the stunning sunset. Your overnight stay is at Berber tent where you will have dinner and listen to Berber music.
Day 3 : Merzouga - Toudra gorges – Dades Gorges
Early morning departure to be at the sunrise on the dunes. After return by dromedaries to the hotel. We will leave Merzouga to Rissani and Visit the old public souk. after we will drive towards Gorge Toudra, we walk little bit in the gorges. and we continue via gorge Dades and take picture of mountains of monkeys foots. overnight to the hotel.
Day 4 : Gorges dades - Kelaa Magouna – Ouarzazat - Ait Ben Hadhadou
Morning at 9am cross via Valley of Roses and the Dades valley, Skoura oisis with it’s authentic 17 century kasbah, the valley of a thousand Kasbahs where cross 50km off-road on Valley tracks. Ait Youl Kasbah .then arrived to the Ouarzazatte city , knows about movies studios and kasbah of Tawrirt .continued to the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhadou is the UNESCO site classified since 1987 where few families are still living in Ait Ben Haddou. We stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 5 : Ait ben Hadou – Tizi n Tichka - Marrakech
After breakfast , we will visit the kasbah Ait benhadou wish is known by (record in the world heritage), where several American movies have been filmed as “The Gladiator”, “Asterix and Obelix”,after that we will take a side road to the Telouet Kasbah, which now stands in ruins after the last Pasha left following the departure of the French .crossing the mountainous chain of the High Atlas through the Tizin- Tichka, the highest narrow path in the country. Arrival in Marrakech .
Day 6 : Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat
After breakfast road via Casablanca city. We will visit city’s highlights: Mohamed V Square, United Nations Square, and lastly an external visit to the mosque Hassan II. Built on the seashore, its minaret is 200m high, making it the world’s tallest religious building. stop for lunch. after that continued via Rabat, and visit the administrative capital and seat of government. its monuments was known by the kasbah of alwadaya, a historical spot near the ocean. Then the tower of Hassan 2 which was intended to be the largest minaret in the world. along with the mosque the modern Mausoleum of Mohammed 5. All together forms an important historical and tourist complex in Rabat. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 7 : Rabat – Meknas - Fes
Morning at 9am, we continue trip to Meknes with stop a long the way to visit Volubilis and discover its Roman. After that we drive to Meknes and visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Bab El-Mansour and great walls. We continue to Fes where we stay 2 nights in the hotel.
